About: This earthy, herbaceous essential oil is calming and balancing. Used in aromatherapy to promote the nervous system, Clary Sage is also known for supporting women’s reproductive health.
Common Uses: Clary Sage is best applied topically at a 2% dilution (12 drops per ounce of carrier oil). For a simple palm inhalation, rub a few drops of the dilution between the palms, lightly cover the nose and take 3-5 slow, deep breaths. The benefits of Clary Sage essential oil can be enjoyed in diffusers, perfumes, lotions, massage oils, salves and deodorants.
Blending Recommendations: Clary Sage blends well with many essential oils and is a middle-top note. Green and floral, it blends well with herbaceous and earthy aromas, as well as other florals.
